JaneyCakes and Being Neighbourly East Grinstead made a special visit to the Meridian Hall at East Court on Saturday to give all the wonderful volunteers a well deserved (socially distanced and individually packaged) treat.

The vaccination centre is organised well and runs really smoothly.  Over 6,500 local people have already received their vaccination, with patients from all the local surgeries - Moatfield, Ship Street, Judges Close and Crawley Down Health Centre - invited to attend.

Thanks to everyone, including the East Grinstead Lions Club, who have helped out with the vaccinations so far, you are very much appreciated.

Many thanks to Higgidy for their kind donation of gift bags containing pies and other lovely bits to cheer up some of our local residents.

Higgidy are a Sussex-based company who have been amazing in supporting the people of East Grinstead throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns.

This was a joint operation with East Grinstead Town Council, East Grinstead Emergency Action Group, The Mug Tree and lots of other lovely volunteers who gave up their time to deliver around the town today.  Thanks to everyone involved.

Volunteers from Being Neighbourly spread some Christmas cheer today when we delivered Christmas goodies to some of the local residents we have been supporting this year.

Huge thanks go to Jane from Janey's Special Cakes who donated all the delicious and beautiful cakes and also Moatfield Surgery, Sainsbury'sWaitrose & Partners, Hobbycraft and

Marks and Spencer for their kind donations.

Also many thanks to all of our kind volunteers who helped with the deliveries.  Your help is much appreciated.
